If you've noticed unexplained bite marks on your skin or drops of blood in your sheets there's a good chance you have bed bugs in your house. If your home or business has become infested with these biting insects, ignoring the problem will be disastrous. Don't let bed bugs multiply - Call us today!
When you contact Tristate, we’ll start with a visual inspection. A highly trained and licensed pest control technician will inspect all visible areas for live bugs, eggs, and evidence of bed bugs
When bed bugs are suspected but cannot be confirmed by a visual inspection, our recommendation is for a bed bug dog inspection. While bed bugs hide in mattresses, bed frames and other furniture and personal belongings, they also hide under carpeting and flooring and behind walls where they are not visible to the naked eye. The trained nose of a bed bug dog is not limited to visible areas and can quickly and accurately pinpoint bed bugs in areas not visible or accessible to people.
A 3 year old beagle mix, Cooper was trained as a puppy to detect bed bugs with a huge degree of accuracy. Not only that, he loves his job and can't wait to meet new customers!
A K-9 inspection performed by Cooper and his human, is about 90% accurate. Canines, like Cooper, will sniff out bed bug pheromones and sit to alert their human of the bed bugs' location. The use of dogs to inspect for bed bugs is particularly useful. Specially trained dogs identify bed bugs by scent, so even if they are hiding well, the dogs will still detect and alert us to the presence of bed bugs.
If bed bugs are positively identified, we’ll recommend a course of action that will result in the elimination of your bed bug infestation. Our treatment program includes an initial intensive service and two follow-up visits if needed.

Our conventional treatment is the most common solution for the elimination of bed bugs. Our technicians apply formulations to the infested areas to ensure all potential bed bug hiding spaces receive treatment.
At Tristate, we practice IPM or Integrated Pest Management, which is a set of industry practices enforcing that we only use low toxic, odorless, long-term and effective pest control products to ensure the highest safety of our customers.
This is a one-day treatment that uses minimal pesticides, providing customers with a quick and environmentally-friendly solution. Using portable heaters, infested spaces are gradually heated to 120ºF, killing bed bugs at all life stages.
Freezing, or Cryonite treatment, applies carbon dioxide (CO2) gas to bed bug-infested areas, typically the cracks and crevices around the bed. This gas freezes bed bugs on contact, instantly killing them and their eggs.
This treatment method is chemical-free and safer for heat-sensitive surfaces (like vinyl, plastic blinds, cords, etc.).
Similar to heat treatments, steam can be used to kill bed bugs by subjecting them to high temperatures. A great alternative to using pesticides, steaming also has the benefit of reaching deeper recesses of a space.
Based on our inspection, we’ll customize a treatment plan that fits your specific situation. We also offer bed bug preventative solutions including mattress encasements, active mattress liners, and climb-ups. From beginning to end, you can count on our team to get rid of bed bugs so you can sleep peacefully!
